Old Warwickians

Michael David Arnold (WS 1941-48)

Michael (Tim) Arnold, a solicitor still working for his company in Olbury aged 81, died on holiday in Thessaloniki, Greece, in November 2010.

After Warwick School Tim studied law at Birmingham University, and set up his practice in 1956, where he worked for the next 54 years. He served as a churchwarden at Birmingham Cathedral, and was also a senior figure in Midlands freemasonry.

He and his wife Vivienne had seven children (six surviving) and 18 grandchildren. She described him as a “remarkable man who always did the very best for his clients.”   OW Patrick Moren says “his epitaph was indeed that he was a true gentleman, and I was pleased to have known him.”
