Raymond Capps (WS 1951-58)

Ray Capps was born on 9 October 1939 and was at Warwick School from 1951 to 1958. After leaving school Ray read French and German at Birmingham University and then became a chartered accountant. He did combine his love of languages with accountancy by working in Austria and Belgium before settling in Coventry. He then relocated to Exeter, Devon where he enjoyed walking, bell ringing and classical music concerts. He died in hospital on 3 December 2009 after a long battle with prostate cancer and leaves 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren who will miss him very much.
