Richard died in February 2009. He had spent his whole life in agriculture and was highly respected in the farming community throughout the county.

Among his other interests he had been a lifelong supporter of the Warwickshire Scouting movement and was a member of Schola Warwicensis Masonic Lodge. Richard’s father, his sons and, more recently, his grandson, all attended Warwick School.

He is greatly missed by his wife Liz, his family and many friends.
